Most of you have heard the story of little K's birth, so I'll spare you the gory details. What you should know, however, is that I had a stroke that morning.
In the years that followed, I had to do a bunch of therapy and basically learn a new way to remember things because there is now a bad connection between my short term and long term memory..... wait, what was I talking about?
Oh. Anyway, I have this awful memory. Because of this, I rely on my camera to capture all those wonderful things I can't seem to keep in my head.
There you have it. My excuse for posting 4 billion pictures each time I blog. Enjoy.
When I posted last, little K had just gone to camp...and I was practicing being very brave. We went to the family night at camp, and it was so sweet to see how much the boys had missed little K (even though they had sworn they would never). And little K seemed pretty happy to see us all (even though she had sworn she'd never).

She showed us around camp, but the most amazing thing I saw was her sleeping arrangement. Here's a girl who, at home, must have the door cracked just enough, the blinds turned up--never down--and has a detailed routine
eeeeeevery night. I have to admit, I was a little surprised she got any sleep at all.

Little K spent all the money she took to camp on gifts for her brothers....the same brothers she would never, ever miss. So sweet!

And even though I promised and promised and promised not to take any pictures of little K when they all did their performance, I did anyway. When the guy in the white jeans, cut off sweatshirt, and ladies sandals walked
alllllll the way up front to take some pics, I figured I was no longer at risk of being the most embarrassing parent there.

Little K built this shelter. It's so impressive! And I'm pretty sure it's bigger than my first apartment...and less drafty as well.
Wooo hooo! What a good looking bunch...especially little T, who just loves to strike a pose.

We bought little P one of those ring pop suckers, and he kept the dang thing in long after the sucker part was gone and long after he'd fallen asleep. This is the baby I spent four months begging to take a pacifier to no avail. Ridiculous.

We also kidnapped this adorable baby, and once again Vinny showed me just how fantastic he is with babies. Even when they are just a baby we kidnapped.

Look at little P! He was genuinely in love with our little kidnapped baby. So cute!

Sadly, we lost a dear family member a week ago. His name was "Front Left Middle Tooth." But don't feel too bad for him. He will soon (um, very soon) be joined by "Front Right Middle Tooth," "Top Left Middle Tooth" and "Top Right Middle Tooth."
On a totally unrelated note, little B has spent the last few days practicing eating all his meals through a straw.

We spent a few days at a local splash park, where thanks to the famous eastern Idaho wind the kids would get wet then promptly freeze to death.
Here's poor little B, covered in three towels and a blanket and still sporting blue lips.
Brrr!

Fortunately the park also sold hot cocoa....er, cotton candy, to keep us all warmed up.

Big news people! After spending two years making people jump around behind me or scream or make faces, little P has finally decided to pose for pictures. I just love this little man!

While K was at camp, Vinny took the boys golfing.

Awe, little B has such good form!

He must have learned it from little T.

The Blue Angels air show also came to town, so off we went. I think little B may have found his calling in life. Well, this and going on bike rides.

Once again, I present little T and his "I'm so awesome I can't stand it" pose.

My boys, all looking for the imaginary plane I told them to pretend to see. Spectacular!

This picture will be blown up poster size and hung on my living room wall. Yes, I love it that much.

Jets are fast. Did you know that? Consequently, all my pictures of the Blue Angels look more like Fuzzy Angels. But the show was amazing!

We were told that no drinks, not even water, was allowed in the air show. Then the 10,000 people they were expecting turned into 38,000 people. We waited in line for 2 hours for some food and Vinny was nearly pummeled to death trying to get little B some water.
Eventually Vinny found where they were filling up the water drums, so he moved us away from the crowd but closer to the water, and we had a great time all by ourselves.
Vinny was there with T and B starting at 9 in the morning. I waited until P woke up and met them there at 1:00. By the time I got there, Vinny had been fighting for food, water, and space for 4 hours! The boys were happy and hydrated and having a great time. I can always trust Vinny to take care of things!
Oh, just so you know, this is the third time I have written this post. It changes a little every time. Mostly it just gets worse. I accidentally erased this post, then my computer died just as I was posting it and nothing saved, and now there are 7 pictures that won't show up.
Grrr..... So I hope you enjoy this post, because it took me 4 days to write. Good gosh.
Oh, and stay tuned. We have some big stuff coming up!

I would really love to get to know you better -- your posts always crack me up! Maybe one of these trips to Utah!
Love the busy summer update. LOL at your story about getting some food and water at the airshow. WE HAD THAT EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE in Spokane a few years ago. Never again! I swear I will strap bags of water to my thighs before I go in there without H2O again : D
Great pictures! Looks like everyone is enjoying their summer. :)
Cute, Cute, Cute! You guys are always doing such fun stuff.
