For about three years now, Vinny has been trying to convince me that we needed a new bed. I mean, after all, our 11 year old mattress had duct tape holding it together (yes, that really is duct tape). And our box springs...don't get me started. They were damaged in a move, so for the last couple years we've actually had to prop up one side of the bed. But still, I could not bring myself to spend so much money on something we already had--even if it was broken and caused us back pain, stiff necks, sleepless nights, grumpy mornings, and overall misery.
Then one day, New Years Eve to be exact, Vinny took me to just "look" at beds. About three minutes after we walked into the store, I tried out a bed...and it had to be mine. I have owned this bed for 11 days now, and for 11 days now I have slept as if...well, as if it was the first time in three years.

It's amazing what a new bed can do, more sleep=more patience, more energy, happier mom= happy home. Congratulations!!!
How nice!! Glad you all got a new mattress. It's worth it!!
Yi-ikes Meg. It was time. I am SO happy for you.
YAY!! Soooo happy for you & all the little ones who join you in the middle of the night :0)
Ahhhhh, a new mattress.
We got a new mattress last year and it really has made a difference. Only problem is I have problems wanting to get out of bed now..so comfy.
Congrats on more sleep and better sleep! You deserve it!
I did the same thing when I moved to Richmond. I love my bed. We (meaning it and I) don't spend nearly enough time together. My favorite moment of any day is crawling between the sheets, and my least favorite is having to get back out.
Hey the new mattress will come in handy when you and Shawn decide to sleep with just blankets again. When we got our new bed, every night I would get in bed and say ooohhh I love Edward I mean I love my new bed.
