Spotlight on Little B

It's time for another spotlight. Thanks for all the wonderful comments about little P. I'm so glad you all enjoyed getting to know him a little better. This time, it's little B's turn.

The first thing you should know is that B LOVES to jump into a picture right before it is taken....sadly we have hundreds of pictures like the one above...a beautifully posed picture with an up close of little B.
The second thing you should know about B is that he LOVES to keep moving! Being pregnant with B was so fun because I got to experience things I never did with the other kids. Because the others came so early, I missed a whole lot of the pregnancy. But with B, I got to feel him wiggle and kick and have hiccups and stretch, all that stuff that I never felt with the other two. Little B was soooo squirmy, and I loved every minute of it! I have always felt so grateful that I was able to have one normal pregnancy.

Most of you know that B was the first child Vinny and I had together. Vinny and I both had a child from our previous marriages, so when we had B it was like the family was finally pulled together. B has always been a total joy for us. He was my easiest pregnancy by far, and unlike K and P I had no issues with his delivery. K came 10 weeks early, and P came 6 weeks early. I had seizures with both and everything was awful! But with little B....everything was perfect. I even got to carry him until the day after his due date and have a "normal" delivery.

The third thing you should know about B is that he LOVES to play tricks on people His favorite: Feigning sleep. Oddly whenever I park the car, he falls asleep just before I open his door. He falls asleep whenever her hears Vinny come home from work, whenever K comes home from school, whenever it is time for him to brush his teeth or say family prayer or do chores or turn off the T.V. or finish his dinner or clean up his toys......you get the picture. He always keeps us laughing!
The fourth thing you should know is that B LOVES to be creative. He is a painter of paper, rocks, birdhouses, toys, the kitchen table, the kitchen floor, his clothes, my clothes, P's toys, K's homework, apples, cups, string cheese, fingers....he loves to paint. B does crafts whenever he can and currently has masterpieces all over the house. He has two large pictures in the kitchen, one in the living room and a grand masterpiece above Vinny's and my bed. What an artist!
The fifth thing you should know is that B has a heart of gold! By far my favorite thing about B is his heart. We knew from early on that B was super sensitive and although the world is trying to change that, his heart can still be broken or mended with one word. He is gentle and kind and I often catch him being his sweetest when no one is looking. If you cry, he will hold you. If you are worried, he will worry. If you are lonely he will stay by you for hours. He is completely forgiving. He will do anything to make you happy and is more generous than anyone else in the family. B is better at sharing than even Vinny and I am, and always tries to find little ways to make things easier for others.

Many times Vinny and I have laid in bed at the end of the day and wondered how we can be more like little B. Hopefully someday we will be!

It is so sweet to hear your thoughts on him! It is amazing to me, all the different personalities in one family... and when you look at each of them individually you realize how much you need each one! B. is so sweet! Thank you for highlighting him!

B is awesome! My favorite thing about him is that he is incredibly energetic & excitable! I have never seen a kiddo be more happy for anyone as when Hunter was opening his birthday presents, it was hilarious. He is such a good little guy for letting Hunter tag along & is so cute having growling matches with Hayden! Yeah, you guys would definitely not be complete without him!

oh my goodness I miss little B. He was of course really little the last time we saw him...him and Josh would seriously be best friends if we were around!

B is so neat to be around. Unfortunately in the hustle and bustle of my grown up life, I sometimes overlook how individual our kids are and that they need attention on an individual basis. B has such a soft heart and the thought of him makes me so grateful to get to be his dad.

I see great things in B's future. He seems so determined and smart. He will, obviously, also be a heartbreaker. Just look at him!
