$88,546,369.07

For years now I have been a WAMU customer. They were recently bought by Chase and so all our cards, checks etc. have been changed over. Yesterday I went to the bank to deposit a measly $300.00. I didn't have any deposit slips left in my checkbook so I asked for a few from the teller. This was the first time I had seen the new Chase deposit slips.

I couldn't help but chuckle at allllllll those empty boxes. It actually took me a second to figure out just how far in $300.00 would start. Let's remember that the FDIC only insures up to $250,000 per depositor at a bank, and this is not a withdrawal slip. My question is, who goes to their little community Chase bank to deposit $88,546, 369. 07?

Wait, I guess this guy does. I love this story!

Yeah this weekend we deposited something like 195.00. What's sad is we really needed it, you would think being graduated helps, it does but we spent the first check so fast we never saw it! :)
