Today the kids put on their swim suits, went into the back yard, and filled up a bucket with warm water. Little Jedi decided he wanted to see what was in there...it was about one minute later that he figured out it was his very own bathwater.
Last night we went to bed and said good night to our little puppy who, until this morning smelled so cute and puppyish that I'd actually let him snuggle me in bed. This morning, however, I woke up to some kind of AWFUL stench. I don't know for sure what Jedi did last night, but I think it had something to do with rolling around inside a dead animal. So we bought him some new puppy wash and scrubbed him until he smelled like our old Jedi. We also scrubbed down his kennel and bedding and generally tried to rid everything we could of the stench.
Already wet from the puppy wash, the kids decided to turn on the sprinkler and do a little jumping. I know this looks like they are all just enjoying a good rain storm, but no...they're actually hiding under umbrellas while in their swimsuits on the trampoline with the sprinklers on. You'd think with all the rain we've gotten lately they wouldn't feel the need to "make" their own rain.

It's too bad canines smell rotten from time to time... but then again, don't we all? What it really comes down to are all the fabulous memories made, captured with well shot pictures, by a loving and wonderful mother. I think you're the best. You really do show your children all the beauties and wonders of the world, AND document it so both you and they will remember for always. I hope to be like you someday.
The tramp sprinkler/rain pic is classic, I love it.
I remember the good old days of jumping on a trampoline while the sprinklers are going;)
I'm happy to hear that rockwell isn't growing. Little P sure is cute and I can't believe how big he is getting.
We should get together sometime soon. We are thinking that we will probably be moving shortly.
I would be willing to bet Jedi rolled in poop. I can't begin to guess why, but some dogs feel the need to capture other dogs' smells is to roll in the grass that smells like them. My family's beagle is guilty of this.
Wish I could join in the sprinkler fun!
