Corn
Last night about 8:00 my body decided to turn on me. My night seemed a lot like that scene from "Fever Pitch" where Drew Barrymore has food poisoning. Once again Vinny saved the day, taking little P downstairs to scream it out while I waged war with my insides. Of course it continued late into the morning where I somehow "found" some corn from dinner the previous night that had been hiding inside my digestive tract.
Sadly, today was not one of those days I could lay around deciding whether I was going to live or die. We had to get back on the road again, and head back to Salt Lake City to take little P to Primary Children's Medical Center. This is the appointment that will decided whether Rockwell (little P's hemangioma on his forehead) lives or dies. The boys immediately fell asleep in the car which sounds like an ideal situation, but really translates into a very awake baby sitting between me and Vinny on the bed right now. Along the way, however, we did see one heck of a rain storm. True to form, little P chose that moment to decide that if he did not eat we would never hear the end of it. So we pulled over to feed him while the other kids discussed whether we would die by lightning strike while we waited. I did get these great pictures of the storm though. Tomorrow morning we head to the hospital, decide Rockwell's fate, and turn around to go home again. Poor Vinny just said, "I am starting to feel a little sick to my stomach." Of course, the poor guy.
All this toilet loving, road tripping, baby screaming, and all I really want to do is lay in bed and watch this all day. Come on, even those of you who aren't fans of the Twilight Saga (that was painful to even type) can appreciate how great this looks!
Cody gets like that on road trips, well he sleeps til like the last hour and then WHINES from then on. Usually when I am driving alone so there is nothing I can do about it.
Sad you got sick. EW
Oh and there have been a TON of storms around here lately... the sky is constantly really really dark. But then you turn around and look the other way.. and it's sunny. I love it. Don't forget to let me know when your in town so I can see you.
While the corn comment grossed me out, I was immediately distracted by the New Moon video, so it's all good. Seriously, I'm sorry you were sick. That's no fun. Hope you guys can stay home for awhile!!
GRODY! That is one nasty bug that has been passed and passed and passed! Also, sweet pictures... and I can't get Twilight off my mind. I had to watch it again two nights ago, which in no way quenched my "thirst." :) When is November?
I heard about that Utah storm. My good friend lives near Logan. She blogged about major damage; like 6ft of water in basements, broken windows, damaged gardens, etc.
I am Mamma to three (sometimes 4) fantastic children and wife to one amazing husband. I love, love, love my family (even my brother Joe- the liar who says I ran him over twice), and can't wait to see what happens next for us!

I hope you survive the day, sounds like a rough one! And I hope that everything goes well at the medical center too!
Those are awesome pictures of the clouds! And I have also recently had terrible toilet love... :(
