The Tell Tale Shirt
Sometimes I feel like laundry is running my life. Currently, I budget $1,784.03 a month for laundry detergent alone, and until last night I was wondering just exactly what the problem is. Then I got little B undressed for bed. This is the shirt he wore yesterday.
I think I may have found what/who is causing my laundry woes.

So what you're saying is, this isn't a stage Mel is going to grow out of any time soon? Dang. I was hoping....
I especially love when my kids put clothes in the basket that aren't dirty, they are just too lazy to put them away.
This is a play off of a Poe titled short story, right? The only ones I can remember are The Raven and The Cask of Amontiado (sp?)
Treyson uses his shirt as napkin or Kleenex and uses his pants as if they were made of steal. He always has grass, mud or who-knows-what stains on the knees. That is if there are still knees, many/most of his pants have holes in the knees!
Another issue... stuff in the pockets. I've found a variety of wrappers (usually slips past my pat down before entering the washer), rocks, toys, food (out of wrappers), crayons, pieces of wood, etc. in his pockets. It's nasty! There have been a few occasions that we've had tie-dyed clothes come out of the dryer. Grrrr.
I hear ya sista... although I don't think I spend as much on laundry detergent as you. :o)
Tell Tale Heart! It just came to me.
Personally, I think you're not budgeting quite enough for detergent.
It's been awhile now, is that shirt clean yet? kidding.
Hope you guys are having a fun summer/birthday week!
