First Fish of Summer

Vinny's sister, Jen, and her four kids are staying up here for a few weeks, and it's been great spending a little time with them. Today, after we put in our required 42 hours of church, we headed out for our first fishing trip of the summer.

Last summer everything was so chaotic that we never even went fishing once, so I was glad to start it off early this summer. Jen and her kids came with us, and of course so did little Jedi. He mostly just whined a lot and tried to get a few fish hooks stuck in his nose. Many thanks to Aunt Jen for saving his cute little nose more than once.

This is my favorite picture of the evening. My beautiful baby chillin' by the pond, admiring at the sunset, munching on some licorice...with a dead fish hanging from his stroller. How picturesque.

Little K was the only one to catch a fish, and ironically, the only one who kept dropping her fishing pole and running away every time a bug approached. It was a great evening with the kids and a few cousins. We're looking forward to a few more weeks of fun times with cousins!

In this collage: David, Little K, Little B, Tai, Little P, and Sean....and one dead fish.

SOOOOOOOOO fun! I to ADORE the one of Little P. in the stroller, muchin' on licorice with a dead fish hangin' from the stoller. I'm pretty sure this one needs to be enlarge, matted, framed, and hung somewhere prominent. :)

Hey, fun times! I'm coming to Pocatello in two weeks for the weekend and was wondering if you wanted to hook up for lunch or something? Let me know: my email is talkintous@hotmail.com.

I know we suck for not joining in on the fishing fun, next time though.

That is great that you like to go fishing. My kids love it, but I just think it is gross. Good family time!
